5 Authors that I Haven't Read, But Really Want To

The Ocean at the End of the Lane: A Novel - Neil Gaiman, Neil Gaiman The Ultimate Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy - Neil Gaiman, Douglas Adams Slaughterhouse-Five - Kurt Vonnegut Fight Club - Chuck Palahniuk Legend - Marie Lu

There are quiet a few authors that I haven't read yet, but here are my top five:

1. Neil Gaiman: People keep recommending that I read Neil Gaiman. But, more importantly, his story-lines seem like ones that I would really enjoy. I'm going to start with The Ocean at the End of the Lane, because it's been recommended to me most often and because I just want to.

2. Douglas Adams: I own The Ultimate Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, but haven't gotten around to reading it yet, which is just sad. Douglas Adams' writing seems like it will be hilarious and I really need to get on it. I'm going to start with The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy.

3. Kurt Vonnegut: As an aspiring writer, so many people ask if I've read anything by Kurt Vonnegut. To my shame, I have not. But I've always really wanted to. I'm going to start with Slaughterhouse-Five because I already own it.

4. Chuck Palahniuk: I often read Palaniuk's essays on writing, but I've never read any of his novels. I'm going to start with Fight Club because I really liked the movie when I was younger (though I haven't seen in a really long time). It's also nice and short.

5. Marie Lu: Marie Lu is on my list solely because of Booktube reviews. I don't read that much YA anymore, but I have a soft-spot for Dystopian novels. I'm going to start with Legend.

So there you have it. The authors I really need to read in the near future.

Bye!
